I’ve got a Classic not a Racer. I am also using a Garmin 395 with their TPMS system. Works great and will notify through your Bluetooth helmet provided it is synced. I also have a separate 395 on my RT, I swap the caps back and fourth. I use a RAM ball mount bold on my triple tree.
BTW, in the reviews of the Garmin TPMS a lot of people complain about short battery life. These use a specific battery which I buy from Amazon, if you use a “compatible” battery it probably is going to have a shorter life.
