I'm sticking to my story that dealers in the USA will have deliveries in February of this year. Some freak storms could affect this, but I don't think so. Dealer asserts bikes are in the USA and only logistics will determine date, and that all dealers must have bike at the same time.

Doesn't matter here. We are getting another 6 inches or so of snow here. I haven't even been able to get the container in the driveway to clean out the garage! BTW, my salesman left the dealership, and moved to Florida. Smart guy. The sales manager and me will finish the deal, and he's an old friend.

February or March

Spoke to my dealer today. He showed me latest dealer info from BMW Australia dated this week. Stated demonstrator release late February. Customer release mid March with no specific date.

Seems pretty consistent with what many others saying.

This would make great sense to get a demo bike out so the unsure can get a better idea before they commit ,but unless people drop their pre ordered 9T they may then have a wait for the phase 2 build to arrive :D
My dealer gets his demo bike along with my delivered bike #1 early march, but demo rides won't happen until 15th march as this is the release date for the 9T in the UK ;)

Not sure how long it takes in England :D but I can assure you that the Daytona Beach, FL dealership that's the same day! Or latest, next day!:D:D Not being sarcastic but once the bike hits the dealership my experience has been assembly, PDI, out the door. We'rve talking $$$$ when sold, sitting in dealership of no value!

Well, we've all seen Ice Road Truckers...
I don't think this is gonna slow down all those caffeinated pill popping truckers one little bit.

They gotta pay the bills too.

I stopped by my dealer today, and if my ears weren't deceiving me...I think he told me they would be receiving my bike (and one other pre-order) this coming Friday.

Maybe my ears were playing tricks on me. It's happened before.

But if you see a picture of me standing next to my new machine a week from today...it won't be a Photoshop job.

If Friday the 21st were April 1st, the post could be:
I got it, I got it, I got it! It's more beautiful and sleek than I could ever have imagined. I love the seat arrangement and the handlebar height. The billet aluminum trim is just so gorgeous that I've already started to polish it. And the engine sound through the twin pipes magnificent. Seat height perfect for me at 5' 11". And, it's just so well balanced. Took it out for a short run, and this baby leans into a curve just thinking about it.

Pictures later . . .
