This weekend I installed a handful of mods onto my 2021 Pure.
  • Rizoma Iride S multifunction rear turn signals
    • There's a thread where someone hacked up the factory harness—don't do that. Do yourself a favor and buy Rizoma EE104-01 harness that plugs into the Euro plug. It's plug and play, no cutting of any harnesses, no changing out of the bullet plugs, nothing. You'll still need two turn signal connectors (EE078H). No issues installing these!
  • Wünderlich SIXDAYS tail
    • I chose this tail tidy because of how it "completes" the Passenger Pillion...but boy oh boy what an animal this was to install. Provided is a rigid u-frame that's supposed to slot into the rear of the Passenger Pillion. However, it was slightly wider than the Passenger Pillion and required me to put all my might to try and squeeze it into place. After what seemed like an eternity I mustered enough strength to snap it into place using all my weight. I was not able to successfully tap this taillight into the Rizoma harness...not sure where to begin. I'm a wiring dunce, so I know nothing about resistors, why they're not working, why they're throwing codes, etc. Besides that, install was simple and straightforward.
  • Hookie license plate bracket
    • Love the simplicity of the bracket. I bought an aluminum, license plate blank from amazon as the mounting plate for the License Plate itself. Only issue here was the hardware was too long/washer spacers weren't long enough. Not to fret I ran to Lowes and purchased washer spacers to add to it to make it work. I however, couldn't figure out how to get my license plate lights to work (again wiring dunce). They flashed once then stayed off and threw a CANBUS code.
  • Hardwired my Garmin Zūmo 396 LMT-S GPS
    • After following a gentleman's directions on the BMW MOA facebook group, the hardwire wasn't working...I came to the forums and it turns out his instructions were BACKWARDS and I was wiring the live wire to the ground and vice versa. After swapping connections and turning the bike on the GPS turned on and I was a happy camper. I'll be installing an M8 RAM mount into the handlebar clamps for the GPS bracket — will update the thread when I do.

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any questions! I don't wrench on vehicles too much, so I was a bit apprehensive about all of this, but all-in-all it was an easy feat (except for my on-going CANBUS/LED issues lol).

Hi Regarding the indicator from Rizoma, do you need to install the resistor ? as Rizoma website says you also need EE149H to eliminate the fault lamp code.

Is it everything plug and play ? It looks really difficult when reading the others thread

For my 2021, I did NOT need any resistors for the turn signals (y)

Updating the build — added a titanium Unit Garage high-mount slip-on (running it without the baffle) and it's a completely different experience.

The bike really sounds alive now! Might sound a bit more than just "alive" soon because I have titanium Akrapovic headers arriving today too lol...

Been cleaning up my new set of Akrapovic titanium headers before I install them.
I'd like to thank @DomNineT on the suggestion to use WD40 + Green/Maroon/Gray scourer pads — it worked perfectly.
Below you can see the before and after — will install them soon!

Looks great! Can you provide a close up of how those indicators are mounted?
@lukeinaz the bottom plate and turn signal brackets were included in the Wünderlich SixDays tail tidy.

I'd actually like to use the set of holes that are even further back on the tail, but I will have to trim down the length of the turn signal brackets.

Installed my Akrapovic titanium headers and still left the baffle out of my UG high mount and while it is 100% obnoxious — I love it. For the joy riding I use my RNineT for, it really feels alive now. I need to find a remote location to record some fly-bys.

Also added a Chinesium rear hump, which fits surprisingly well and matches the other satin aluminum bits on the bike (and at only $69..!!).

And finally, I got my vanity plate — naked bike gets a NAKEY plate lol

I installed the exhaust with the UG headers but as you said is too loud without the DB killer, not fun for me. So I run it with the insert and its similar to the OEM twin exhaust without the inserts, but it clears the rear wheel really nice. I think the UG baffle chokes a bit the bike but might be just my imagination.
