I know of only a few that are actually available beyond the one offered by BMW. Post the links of you know of any others.

My seat ramblings...

I have a 2018 'Classic' and put 31k on the stock seat, the longest ride being 1018 US miles and a couple of 777 rides: I wouldn't recommend the stock seat for anyone spending all day in the saddle unless they were a$$h0l35. I considered LAAM and Sargent for restuffing or replacement.

I finally took the dive on Sargent's $409 incl. tax (plus shipping) built solo saddle that features their own pan. @BaldyDave has photos and a bit of write-up. My summary: everyone's bum is different and the Sargent's pan was not comfortable under mine. The edge of the pan seemed to rise and 'bite' into my leg after an hour. However, their foam was a noticeable improvement. Taking advantage of Sargent's "try it for 30-days" guaranty to return my new seat, (I don't think this is an option with custom builds) I went into their showroom with my stock seat and asked for new foam on the stock pan. The total cost for the solo and pillion squib was $279 incl. tax (plus shipping): I kept my original vinyl because I like the stock look. Pretty cheap if it works the trick.

I haven't put enough miles on the restuff to form an opinion yet and will update this post after a few all-day rides.

The /5 seat itself is 52539444604 but I think you may also need 52538546486 and 2x 46638521656. I think it should all run about $600 total
Thanks for this!

If you need extra components to install the seat, is it possible to switch back and forth easily?

Ideally id still have my hump/seat combo for solo/city riding :)
No special tools were required; however, one must give Sargent Cycle ones seat pan for them to build a custom seat. In my case, I used a slightly defective seat pulled off a new R9T, which allowed me to keep the original seats and also have a custom.

Has anybody tried the Unit Garage seat? I have been riding for hours at a time and my behind does get a bit sore, however, my better half and I am not talking about my behind.... really suffers.

Here is the seat without a cover from their website.
Following! Does ANYONE have the Unit Garage biposto? Don’t want to plunk down the dough if it’s not a noticeable improvement.
Same here…also considering the Unit Garage Biposto seat for my Scrambler!

Would love to hear more owner feedback on this compared to the stock regular height seat.

Thanks Dave. Did you order directly from Unit? How long are they saying delivery will take?

Greg
Received my Unit Garage Biposto seat today. Five days from placing the order. Pretty remarkable. Removed the grab strap and popped it on.

Wow… that was quick, and looks really nice! Looking forward to hearing how much of a difference it makes in terms of comfort. I’m thinking about going for a brown one to replace my factory seat on the Scrambler.

Thanks for the update, Dave.

Dave, any update on your riding experience on Unit Garage Biposto seat?

I am evaluating whether to get Biposto seat OR Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT one piece

Hi Bad, I wrote up a quick review a short while back, Seats or Butt Pillows as I call them (Unit Garage..., and since then as a follow up I still am in love with this seat. Again, Unit was responsive, the seat is top quality, and I have not had any issues to date with it.

I am coming up to my 6000 mile service in about 300 miles and my rides are generally in the three to four hour at a time bracket, so I can say with some certainty that this is a comfortable seat. At least compared to the stock.

Many very comfortable rides! Leather is very high quality and the seat looks and feels great. Wunderlich is a few hundred more but the Biposto is a quality upgrade! I am impressed.

Seat is on bike, I'm very happy with the finish, better then expected

Hi will you share who did the seat for you ?
@Koziarnia3187 member Cvet27 hasn't been on the forum for 5 years so it's likely you won't get an answer.
When you get your post count up you may try sending them a Conversation message, it's possible they could get an email alert to that.
Why not start out by introducing yourself to the nineT family by starting a new thread in the New Member Introductions section. (y)

What is the best seat out there for giving you more leg room?
Put a sheep skin, bead Rider, or air hawk to any seat custom or not.

I usually do use an Airhawk on any trips beyond 100 miles on all my previous bikes.
