Hey, send us a picture. I'm thinking about doing that on the Scrambler to match the seat.I wrapped the grips with some tennis racket wraps. Very sticky, not very thick and preserve the factory grips.

They finally got back with an offer ... $18,000.What do they offer for a possible trade in? And how sounds it to you?
That's a pretty trick set up. You have to take the skid plate off anyway to do the oil change that's nice.View attachment 159555
Tried my new lifter from Horning. Have to remove the sump Guard to use. But will make servicing and upgrades easier.
... c'mon, you took pics from the bike - and there are mirrors, are they? The huge cargo helicopter I can't photograph is about 50. Feet away from this.
Careful, those lifters (got a similar from Becker) are tend to flip the other way round and could give the engine a serious knock.Tried my new lifter from Horning. Have to remove the sump Guard to use. But will make servicing and upgrades easier.
I had a mishap with the Becker lifter the first time I used it. (I must have done it wrong.) I bought a rear paddock stand and never used the Becker thing again.Careful, those lifters (got a similar from Becker) are tend to flip the other way round and could give the engine a serious knock.
I came very near to getting that helicopter in the mirror. If I were to move a few inches to the right... I really don't know what would happen if I took photos without permission.. It's really silly since the military allows access to film crews to shoot movies on occasion. They do have an escort making sure the cameras don't accidentally point at something they shouldn't though. I'll tell you what. The installation opens to the public for an air show one day every summer. Photography is allowed that day. I'll take pictures of all the military hardware I can find... c'mon, you took pics from the bike - and there are mirrors, are they?
@gene_apodaca My treat Next time you are in Virginia.I LOVE oysters. Kind of hard to catch in the desert though. I think last time I ate oysters was in 1999.
We just missed this event by about a week when we rode out west few years ago.My mouth is watering. I'm going to go fry up some Rocky Mountain oysters now. Nothing like yours but they share a name. Actually, I don't think I will.![]()
We had them up in Estes Park in Colorado. Not bad.If you've never had them, they taste good when prepared well, just like anything else. The concept is a major put off for sure.
