This was an r60/5 i saw today , I think a chrome or black grabrail that curves gently up as it reaches the rear of the seat somewhat closer to the original shape would look amazing as long the rear seat badge rondel was not obscured View attachment 140018

In fact i have found from an R 75/5 the grab rail.

the problem is that these types of rails bolt directly to the seat which is something i really like.

on the NineT and on the /5 seat you cannot do it in such way and that's a big problem.

all this time I have the rear hump on and now without it my bike seems to me

a little strange.... but in a good way strange. Moat of the time I am riding solo so

the hump pretty soon will be back on but for the time I am gonna use the new seat

can anyone suggest a grab rail beside the ones that Unit Garage and Hepco & Becker offer ?

The OEM+ styling looking so good my friend, for the rails I only saw the hepco and unit grab rails. I recommend you to look AliExpress for some different types of rails.

Perhaps you can find a way? Drill holes onto the seat plastic frame, put some long bolts through and washers and locknuts inside. Just a thought.

Of course, you need to be sure that you really want that, because once you drilled the seat cover, you're committed!

it sounds likes hard work to make this strong and manageable and safe in terms of seat removal and reattachment and having it all stay in one piece.for the pillions safety.

Realistically I think having something that bolts into the conventional frame points and give the impression it is attached to the seat ,. just having the internal frame struts between the low seat external rail and the upper part of the grabrail might enough to trick the eye if they had a flatter section mid strut ( ala where the fastener would be on the real one) ,
The older seat is huge so visually the struts between the two rail approach should be very strong as two rails would be much closer together on the r nine with /5 tribute seat

Visually i think its mostly about the various circular arcs as the top rail joins at the top of the seat.

Changed Carbon cylinder head covers for the black aluminium DK design ones🥳
And connected rapid bike Bluetooth to connect wireless via app and load different fuel/air ratio options..trying to get the R nine T to a specialist this month and make the setup perfectly on the Dynorun.
Busy day, very happy with the result!
