What jacket do you wear?

Well you've all shown impeccable taste in your choice of motorcycle, but what Jacket do you wear? Does it complement it, or do you wear a race replica romper suit?

I'll start the ball rolling.....

I wear a custom Aero Leathers Indian Ranger 1950s Jacket made from front quarter horse hide... Black Stewart tartan lining (well I live in Scotland!) and an optional internal zipped pocket. The quality is outstanding and worth the money as it should outlast me!

Have another Crowtree leather jacket which was also a custom, but I'm getting a bit big for it since I started swimming! lol

Going to get some Kevlar reinforced denim jeans as I'm not really a leather trousers kinda guy! ;)

Couple of photos below, showing jacket and lining...

Check out Maple Motorcycle Jeans, should go great with that jacket.
No taunts about lack of protection on the gear, none, not from me ;)

Nice looking jacket.
I'm looking for an old style thin leather jacket with some soft elbow protectors, haven't found perfect yet.

I've sent my old jeans to
Ruste Protection - Tailored protection for your favorite jeans
and got perfect jeans with kevlar and also with protectors if needed. Recommended.

My jacket is the Aether Skyline. I liked this jacket for several reasons:
- it does not look like a motorcycle jacket when I am off the bike
- full back, elbow and shoulder D30 protections
- I did not want a black jacket
- it is a little longer than the standard motorcycle length
- water/abrasion resistant
- nice ventilation features for hot california days
I have not used it a lot but I am extremely satisfied with it and with the service level received at the SF store. They were very patient with such a painful customer! :D

Right now I've got a BMW Heritage Brown leather jacket for light travel. No armor

And a BMW Club 2 Jacket for longer rides and highway cruising. Full armor and back protector.

I'll be treating myself to a Roland Sands Ronin in Smoke for Christmas. It accepts armor and it looks pretty sweet!

All nice kit so far and no horrors! lol

Here is the web site of the company I've used - they do a lot of exact replica stuff of classic clothing. A bit pricy, but as I've said it's five star quality and will last a lifetime.

I do like the Horsehides, but my kids (who are grownups now) grew up with horses, and they would kill me if I wore one. I did however choose the thickest cowhide jacket maker I could find. (they love cows too, but that doesn't stop the girls from shoes and designer bags).

Fox Creek grayson jacket, and BMW venting jacket.

Phenix, what size BMW club jacket did u get? I'm thinking of using my $500 ride smart reward to get that one. I normally wear a large and was curious if it runs true to size.

My CJ was true to size but use the size chart and measure your american torso before buying --> Size chart - Help & Services
my old BMW Airlflow-2 jacket, silver with blue.

One dealer keeps telling me they wear out and I need a new one, guess they mean the crash foam does but I am not worried about it. I might get a new one where the predominant color is black to better match helmet and bike
I'm considering to buy a BMW clubman leather jacket..

Looks cool

I'm 6' 1", 220lbs with a 44" chest. My XL is a little bit snug. I still need to break it in.
Aerostich when looking fashionably cool doesn't matter. But my Vanson leather jacket I scored on Ebay for a hundred bucks with its previous owners Patina is my favorite. I am going to try the Ruste option for my next set of Kevlar jeans. The Maple jeans are nice, but I have a nice pair of selvage Levis that would make cool moto pants.
