Now that we have seen what the nineT looks like, we can start planning what mods we would like to do to it. BMW made this bike knowing that people would want to mod it, so it is easy to take apart. I would want to switch the mirrors on it for one. Maybe find some different colors or decals to put on it too if it only ends up being offered in black.

First thing I'm planning to do is fit clip ons, rear sets if the existing ones cannot be moved back and do something about the tail light / number plate holder.

all that on a black R NineT will be a great combination and flow nicely

The carbon fiber looks nice on the nineT. I could see people getting plenty of carbon fiber parts for the bike. I certainly would consider getting fenders and maybe even mirrors with carbon fiber.

I'm still waiting to be inspired by what some custom bike shops do to the nineT too.

Paint, Wheels, Levers, Bars, maybe suspension. Just waiting to see what's going to be supplied, then look to see whats possible.
