Catching up on some reading after a fun long season on the Boxer in Europe. I will get a topic going in general discussion about my 5 years into Street and Race for my R nineT's. I can say this, Mike Godin at KWS Motorsports in SC has built the best map for Fueling with the Rapid Bike Evo (w/ shift assist), and the ignition is done with ECU flash.
The short turn throttle AlfredoB used is the icing on the cake. The ECU flashing is secondary to the Rapid Bike EVo... For street use its all you need. KWS's mapping/fueling is by far the best with the Rapid Bike.

I m getting rid of Dynojet and its shift assist. It was all that was out basically when I started the project.

Thanks for the info!
How would you compare this with a bike that only has Brentune ECU Flash?

I ended up with the Rapid Bike Evo based on recommendations. The instruction paper provided isn’t helpful. Luckily we have amazing forum members and I followed those instructions instead for an easy install.
My 2014 R9T has velocity stacks, headers (no cat), and an exhaust. I ran the bike for a couple hundred miles with no tune and it ran perfectly normal.
After the install, the bike seemed to run rough and the engine breaking was more pronounced.
After a 250 mile road trip, the bike was shuddering — similarly to how a bike runs when it’s low on gas and about to die.
I removed the rapid bike and reinstalled, I double checked my work and made sure no wires were unplugged, bent, or otherwise.
The bike now randomly loses power under normal acceleration. I have no idea how to proceed and am emailing Rapid Bike directly.

I can only speak for the Bren Tuning ECU flash that I eventually opted for. Significantly better in the mid and top end and the low end is smooth and responsive. In summary it transformed the bike's performance. Basically the bike that BMW would have produced if emissions and noise regs were not an issue. Worth every penny!

I have both, the Bren Tuning ECU flash and the Rapid Bike.
I tried the Rapid Bike on the OEM map and on the Bren Tuning map.
They both worked. My only incidence with Rapid Bike was the first time I started it, it shuddered. After 5 min it auto-tuned.
Surprised how RB didn't work on your bike.
Did Yaman said why it didn't work?

After many emails and a few phone calls, we couldn’t determine the problem. He offered to send a new unit, but at this point, I didn’t want to waste either more of our time. Everyone else seems to love their RB, so it could have been a random, isolated issue. I can’t recommend Yaman enough!
