Biggest question I have, is how do we fit it to the existing tail, without removing the pillion. Removing the pillion seems to lose the turn indicators, don't like that. All these questions will be answered in time.

Just received this response for us in the States.

Hello and thank you very much for your inquiry.

We will have all of the Wunderlich R Nine T products. A new section of our web site is under construction and I will inform you as soon as it goes live. That will be later this week or possibly early next week.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Stubborn, I did not need to see those pictures.

Now I have to do something about the tail, and I'll probably buy the windscreen, too.

Probably a good thing that Wunderlich USA doesn't have the parts in stock yet....

The handlebar is not the genuine one (lower profile, which is good, even if not enough in my opinion as I'm looking at an ace bar or clip ons), but I can't find it as an accessory on Wunderlich website. Any clue about where it comes from?

Reading the description on the German Wunderlich site, it seems that the taillight kit only includes a bracket that relocates the original light. It does not include the taillight itself, so for us in the US this is unfortunately not a complete solution as you will still have to buy the EU/Canada taillight :-(

Personally, I want to keep the turn indicators. Otherwise, I think their design is well thought out and executed. Of course, more stuff will be coming soon, from various folks.
If you look at the pictures at the bottom of the previous page, you can see turn signals attached to the rear seat frame. That would work...as long as you don't throw any saddlebags over the rear seat.

Stubborn

Looking at the photos at the bottom of page 1 and the Wunderlich mods gives a few ideas regarding the tail light.

However our road rules require the 'tail' of the bike, to extend to and over the rear of the back tire so. Imagination required.

The bike is lower and looks smaller than others in the class of nakeds.

By the way Stubborn, how tall are you?

If you are out in the rain on the above bike, the water will be thrown from the back tyre up your back and onto your helmet. The water will then run down your helmet and trickle down your neck. The faster you go, the more vortex you will create, increasing the volume of water.
I know this as I have a Harley with a similar setup.
