I am glad they don't seem to be giving up. I have thoroughly enjoyed the R18 in classic and standard forms and they are my preferred rental when I go on a fly-to-location vacation. It's been a while since I've tried anything with a V-twin, but as of a decade ago, nothing with that format felt right to me. Admittedly, I don't normally align with "American" aesthetics, so that's a part of it. My only real criticisms of the R18 were related to it trying too hard to fit the Harley design more than OG European cruisers.
To be honest, I would buy that concept R20 today. No question. If they produce it, I doubt they could fit an exhaust that holds much resemblance to this though. Probably would end up with pipes at least to the rear hub.
