R20 Concept

I've done about as many miles (ok... kilometers or k's as we say down here) on my R18 as I have my scrambler.... mostly fast rural windy roads.... and I'm trying to make sense of how I feel about this..... in my mind it's a 280kg r ninet with 190nm of torque amd maybe 120hp if they can get it to rev a bit more... though that probally doesn't matter, as it is all about the 190nm.

Fwiw.... I do enjoy riding fast with huge torque at really low revs (1600 to 4,000) with a bike where the weight disapears (more than makes sense anyhow) once moving.... and with some rock and shake sensations, I find this much more engaging at "get into trouble" but not "go directly to jail" speeds.

Anyway.... I've got my R18 and Scrambler for what this would cost so I would not be a starter.

Does get me thinking about playing with the R18 exhaust though.... the R18 motor is a hoot....

A bit down the road...if both my bikes got stolen and this existed, then maybe....
 
I think it will look exactly the same, as they will find a way around the need for cats, a quiet exhaust, electronic aids (abs, traction control) etc. I sure it will come with great suspension like they achieved with r9 and r18 and will weigh 200kg.... of course I jest.

Anyway, as a scrambler and R18 owner..... I have been contemplating it..... as I ride both my bikes for a different experience... and I'm not sure it could be a one bike thing... it really appeals until I think about it.... probally more a triump rocket type experience..... and I don't like those.
