Hi All,
I fitted a full Unit Garage titanium system with servo buddy and Rapid Bike Smart about 12 months ago to my '21 Euro 5 and have done about a 1000 miles since (its my second bike) and although it seems to runs well, it is a nightmare when it starts with the high idle. It wants to cut out and runs terribly unless I give it a few twists of throttle then it dies down to normal idle.
PCC said this is normal and only a proper tune can remove this. My other issue is my total lack of understanding how to set the mixture on the app. I have connected a PC as well, but I don't really understand what if anything I should do as instructions are very vague. I have read that people just leave it as it comes but if thats the case then whats the point of having adjustment? I adjust the mixture but I can't detect any change other than it stinking of fuel.
Is it worth persevering with the Rapid Bike module (and learn how to use it) or can anyone recommend somewhere that can carry out a proper tune to sort out the idle and make sure the mixture is correct.
Cheers
Mike
