I rarely if ever write negative comments about products. But I, too, had a Rapid Bike Smart module on my 2021 Pure for a short time, and it did absolutely nothing for improved performance. On installation one of the sensor connections was improperly fitted, and by correcting this problem myself, I voided the warranty, said the company. I discourage anyone from supporting this company, based on my experience. I do have great respect for PCC, however, and I wonder if they are still selling this product?

Hello K9F, when I spoke about voiding the "warranty", I wasn't speaking about BMW's warranty on the bike. I meant that Rapid Smart refused to refund my purchase after several conversations between PCC and the company. I, too, went the route of removing the cat and flapper valve and replacing the headers - all without any improvement in the cold start/fast idle as the OP described. I should mention that this all took place during the Covid supply shortages and delays. I just wrote off the expense as a learning experience and haven't thought about it since, until reading MikeyP's post today.
