Got the answer to my own question. No, the CANBUS system won't allow the draw of heated gear. Need direct pigtail to battery.

Does the BMW part have posi lock connectors like Touratech, or bare wires at the ends? And if you add an SAE or Coax connector to it can it be used to power heated gear? I know the stock accessory socket can't.
