The parking bulb?

It's the tiny light in the headlight housing under the main headlight.

 

Hi Chris,

I will double-check the parking bulb and the connection to the main bulb.

Everything looks good, but I am now mentally prepared (double expresso) to go in, break down all the connectors, and apply a spot of dielectric grease for good measure.

 

Also checked highbeam? (just to be sure)

Else it could also be a screwed wire left/right of the top Yoke.. it has happened more here on the forum. For example from an indicator.

 

Check any dual filament build like your brake light, the canbus will sense one filament is out and will light the other until replaced….and show a fault

 

If your foot touches the rear brake just enough to put the light on but no brake you will get that warning. Hope this helps. Hate that micro switch

 

that's an interesting bug. I will check tolerances in the switch and lever.

 

I had this as a recurring problem with the front right turn signal. The OEM wire is a little short at full steering lock and a small break in the wire occurred inside the insulation, and at full lock was enough to break the circuit, causing this light to come on.

Good spot. I will run a continuity and resistance test.

Nothing obvious has turned up yet. I have ordered a replacement main/dip and parking bulb and will try swapping those out next.

 

It turned out to be a dodgy sidelight wire causing an intermittent fault. The same issue as Kebo reported on another thread.

I upgraded the low/high beam lamp while I was at it. Happy days.

 

I have an intermittent fault whenever I use high beam.....
Can you tell me which sidelight wire so I can take a look, too? thanks!
