Well, the baffle came with it, so it's definitely possible. The question is how it's properly installed.

It does fit in that way but nothing really holds it save for tension between it and the metal. No circlip came with the part (nor does it have a ring to put it on).

No circlip or space for it to be found. I think indeed the link pipe is supposed to 'press in' the db killer, but that makes alignment internally nearly impossible and it doesn't sound like it does that much. I think that solves this... thanks Scooter Paul.

Anyone have ideas on how to make it a bit quieter? Haha.

Have a look at the spare parts list for your specific exhaust at Arrow's Web site. The exploded diagram seems to indicate that there is no DB killer available, assuming I guessed correctly at the one you have.

Infuriatingly, not on the diagram, but is in the PDF you linked. Part 10: "Silenziatore Interno / Db Killer".

I'll send Arrow a message, but it's super annoying that they just don't have it in the diagram!

This Arrow CBR1000RR has the same type of db killer in the diagram, seems like the link pipe / start of muffler fitment is right:

Wow, that DB killer looks a lot better. And yep, that's how I have it now. Kind of a wonky way to 'fit' it but very removable, I guess! It looks like the same company makes both, because the material and build is identical.

I'd love to get ideas on how to baffle this exhaust a bit more. I might try to wrap the DB killer in packing material or something.

Yeah, I would punch a few holes in the wrapping material to ensure there's still flow, and perhaps pack some in the muffler itself. But perhaps I just have to live with a loud bike.
