Galfer Wave Rotors on R9T

Hi,

I took the Brembo SS Rotors off my S1000RR Street Tires and successfully installed on the R Nine T.
I combined it with a Brembo Brake Master Cylinder and Brembo Brake Pads.

I dig the look but those are floating so loosely that it sounds like a rattling toolbox with every bump I ride. I don't mind the rattle on my track and occasional canyon bike but for the daily ride (the RnineT) it's getting a bit annoying tbh.
I can't find picture or threads on this but knowing that the Brembo SS Rotors from the S1000RR (2010 Model) fit, the Galfer Wave Rotors for the S1000RR should fit just fine also.

On Revzilla I can see that there are two different part numbers for the Rotors for the 2010 S1000RR. Right Side #DF755CWD and Left Side #DF755CWI .
They do list the 2014/15 RnineT also with a fitment number #DF707W .

Hmm, any knowledge on this?

Thank you!

IMO the 9T's brakes are more than adequate for its performance. Other factors such as suspension and heavy tubed wheels would play a far bigger impact to braking.

Another response from Galfer regarding Front Rotor Fitment:

"I looked a lot more into it and they could honestly both work. The only thing is if you get the DF755 you will have to use the OEM bolts you already have. The rotors are basically revised versions of each other while being different at the same time if that makes sense. They will normally fit the same applications but not in all cases."
