Hi,
I have wired some LED spots onto the bike. Biggest problem is finding a decent on off switch and where to mount it. Choices are at the grip area---bought one, but not enough room, or at the head stock end at 30mm. The choice in 30mm switches is not good so far.

Any advice welcome,

Thanks,

Bill

Here ya go, Amazon $13 US bucks, it fit nicely between my mirror and switch cluster on Bean and I chose to mount it on the low position because I can thumb it without having to look for it whilst riding. I had it flipped over first and needed to push the mirror over about 2cm to fit in between but mounted high it was a bit less convienent to hit with my thumb and mounting low let the mirror go back, although it had to move so little it didn't really matter.

It was very easy to hook up to my Baja Design lights once I followed the wiring schematic and is nice because when the lights are on the switch lights up. BMW also makes a stock mounting switch that goes right on the mirror mount, however, it is over a $100 dollars US and may not work with all types of accessories.

For what its worth, I mounted mine on the LH Mirror where it meets the base.
Makes it easy to select each of the three switches within the rotation reach of my thumb.
Each switch has a different backlit halo color which helps allot at night.
(also, each individual switch can be swapped for other types[momentary]/shapes[raised button]/colors[R Y B G], with some creative shopping)
Switch was ~$24.00 on
Amazon
Here's another option I found that might work too - ~$18.00 on Amazon

Although I may be upgrading to a bluetooth remote with a relay box under the seat, due to a number of accessories I am adding.

I wired mine into the high-beam circuit, no switch needed.
