Hi from Arizona.
I'm researching and shopping for a NineT, I'd prefer a brushed aluminum tank Scrambler in excellent condition.
My most recent BMW was a 2003 R1150RTP police bike. If you've never ridden a police bike, the fact no one EVER pulls out in front of you and everyone slows down is a fun experience.

Keep the shiny side up !

Welcome from AZ!
And good luck with your ongoing search. (y)
I've not seen many NineT's around here.

One of my hobbies is shopping for rare stuff. My local misc bike dealer has a scrambler in stock they have had on the showroom for almost a year, but they have all these ripoff fees, like a $799 inspection fee and a $500 doc fee. I don't mind a road trip and I have a trailer.

I'll find one ! No hurry.

Thanks !

Hello and welcome, from South Wales.

Nope, never ridden one........but having one chasing me was a regular occurrence back in my yoof.

I've been caught by a couple also. It's far more fun to be riding one.

I've been riding for over 50 years and I try to be aware so as not to get killed by unconscious drivers. It was a white police bike and I wore white helmet. It was amazing to see the change in driver behavior.

Cheers !

Makes you wonder how motorists/drivers easily spot a Police bike.......but seem to be completely blind to Joe Schmoe bikes!!!!

This what you are looking for? But mine’s not for sale, sorry. I’m in Prescott Valley. You in Sedona? I know what you mean regarding some dealers gouging. That’s why I bought both my GS and the nineT Scrambler from Iron Horse BMW in Tucson as opposed to the dealer that has stores in several of the AZ cities.

Yep, that's the one. Surprisingly I've found 3 low mile ones for sale.
I even picked up the aluminum front fender as not too many buyers paid for one.
I'm going to wait until fall as I have an investment that is going to mature soon.

How about service? I usually do my own service,

When I moved to Prescott Valley from Wyoming in 2023 I made the mistake of venturing to Sedona on my bike one Saturday just before noon. Miserable. Traffic backed way up the hill coming down to the first traffic circle. Tourists seem to have no appreciation for traffic circle etiquitte. I lived in Middle East two years where traffic circles are the rule rather than the exception and drivers there know how to use them.
