When my kids were learning their left from right, I always asked them, "You write with your right, right?", as a teaching aide. I actually asked myself that and whether or not my bike was backwards, before dinging you. I have beaten up every pair of boots I ever had and keep a pair of shoes at work, like some of the others have mentioned. I know there was a long thread regarding chicken strips on here, maybe having mangled LEFT boot toes is just another source of "I really ride" pride, huh? Thanks for taking the ribbing as it was intended - with good nature.

Motorbike Shift Pad Shoe Boot Cover

Hello,

I purchased a motorcycle shoe protector that protects the left foot shoes from scratches during motorcycle gear shift. I will need to cut off the shifter robber to install it. The dimensions are Length: 37mm/1.46", outer diameter: 17mm/0.67", inner diameter: 8mm/0.31.

Do you know the shifter metal's inner dimensions without the robber?
Has anyone used it before?

How about simply taking a spare pair of shoes into work when you aren't on the bike, and leave them there in your locker/desk for when you are on the bike, and then just wear your bike boots.

Used to leave a pair of shoes in my desk drawer or in one of the cupboards. Didn't have to worry about carrying a pair of shoes in a rucksack or whatever, as well as non-bike clothing.

I know some other guys who brought their bikes in to work wore the baseball boot style motorcycle boots, which looked pretty much like "normal" trainers.
