Other than riding I haven't added anything to my R9T in a while except new tires. Will do the 12,000 mile service this summer but lately it's little brother has been getting all the mods/attention (intake, cam, tune, exhaust, etc). I should be riding the R9T this week so it will get some love.

Picked up a front wheel chock so it will be easier to check the oil level, it was a quart low when I had my last service (battery/tires).

Where did you buy the sysbag adapter kit? I dont want to waste and rip my motech sl2 bag
Here's a direct link to the one I used on the sw-motech US store. Unlike some other vendors, their US/EU pricing is broadly similar. Adapter plate right for SysBag 10 - SW-MOTECH

SLC rack -> Sysbag 10 adapter. THe 15 and 30 adapters are for different rack sizes which are not offered on the NineT.

Just ticked over 205 miles on the odometer.
Filled it with fuel for the first time today (the price of petrol is scandalous) reserve light came on at 110 miles, finally found a petrol station at the 135 mile mark and it took 15.5 liters.
Also fitted wunderlich crash bars this afternoon, nice easy job and I think they look quite good.

Had a proper test run today with the Healtech Quickshifter, it took quite a bit of editing settings, riding, tweaking, riding, etc before I felt it was shifting correctly.

Now I can upshift smoothly to every gear in low/med and high rpms. If people are interested I can share the settings of the Healtech app.
Hi Dominic,
I would like to see your settings! I have an R9T from 2019 with healtech quickshifter installed, but getting problem with it to work smoothly

Bit of a busy day today.

First I fitted my Optimate type charger lead directly to the battery, ended up taking the tank off after messing around trying to do it with just the front of the tank lifted. Dropped one of the washers from the battery bolt and couldn’t fish it out. So the fuel tank came off… not a bad job.

Second was to fit Voigt Bar risers (25mm Up/23mm back) again simple enough job. Word of warning: You cannot tilt the fuel tank when they are fitted, the front of the tank will hit the bar risers when trying to lift/pivot the fuel tank. It will be bar risers off each time the tank has to be lifted (air filter)

While doing the above I found a discreet place to mount my GPS Tracker  . Happy that’s on the bike.

Took it out for a spin to see how the Voigt Bar risers felt, definite improvement but will need more saddle time to confirm. I ached a bit after doing all the above work, back, knees, hips which made it hard to tell….

Also Hit the 310 mile mark in “Running it in” with the first service is booked for the end of the month.
Had its second fill of fuel, took 13.95 litres which gave me 175 miles. I’m quite pleased with that MPG.

Off to cook my dinner now and reward myself with a well-earned cold bottle of beer, or two.

A little experiment but i think i will delete this permanently. I am surprised how the sound was so good. Not obnoxious but definitely louder. By the way, i placed back the flapper wires.

Now time to hunt 2.5" mini slipon

I switched out the tail rack on the Scrambler today. Off with the unit garage tail rack and one with the hepco and becker.
The unit garage Has four bolts that connect under the seat, where the hepco and becker utilizes the same side plate bolt that the pannier hangers use. It is not as clean as the unit garage in my opinion but It extends the rack another two or 3 inches, giving more cargo capacity. We actually swapped the unit garage out onto a 2014 classic. Top is h&b

This is unit garage.
