That’s interesting what you’ve said about the Neotec 2 and sena, I’ve both and nothing to compare to but I’ve found sena hard work. Does the other make fit the Neotec or even HJC helmets that you know of?
I have a Packtalk bold fitted to my Arai, but wanted to try the inbuilt Sena system on my new Neotec 2, I ride alone and mostly use it for Sat Nav directions or occasionally the radio. The Packtalks have the Mesh system, if you talk to your mates when riding, which is better than the Bluetooth on the Sena.

I did find using the sena app to set the helmet up and choose radio stations helped a bit.

I have seen a video of someone fitting the Packtalk to a Neotech 2 and here is one of it being fitted to a HJC RPHA 70

The new Packtalk Edge is supposed to be very good

Thanks Tigcraft and Tmation. Good info. I was concerned about the fit of the C5 considering Schuberth's dropping to down to just 2 helmet shapes and adopting different thicknesses of cheek pads accommodate. I'll definitely try one on in person before buying online. Tigcraft, I was looking at Championhelmets.com for the best prices on C5s. I believe they are in the Netherlands, and the website seems legit with good prices and in-depth video reviews. Anyone with experience with this business and their shipping methods?
I wouldn't buy this helmet online, the main reason is the C5 comes with about 7 internal trim parts that can be changed to get a custom fit. At this price point you might as well have the custom fit you are paying for. (the difference between L and XL was huge for my head)

If you are going to ship, also try Moto Legends in the UK, the arse has really fell out of the pound due to the latest government budget so you might get a bargin

I am also considering buying a C5 from Championhelmets with their great pricing. Please do let me know your experience.

I recently made a purchase from champion helmets. Deliver was fast, and the packaging was sound. I don't see any reason to hesitate buying from them.

Here’s some food for thought … I’d like you to check out a small very custom shop called Quin. There here in Dallas. Google “Quin Helmets” read up on them for a bit …. They are fully F1 rated helmets. Things like woven Kevlar & Full Carbon fiber shell. Many features. My hat size is 7 3/4” and that’s snug, I couldn’t find a comfortable full face, all to tight. Quin to the rescue. One long time rider to others … check ‘em out just to be better informed if nothing else. Best quality out here and I went looking …. 5star ……………….. Bitz

I tried a Quin helmet due to your feedback Bitz, but I'm sorry to say it felt really cheaply made to me. I only could walk around the house with it and play with the Bluetooth but all the controls and the materials felt too cheap for me. Then when I sent it back for a refund, it took many weeks to get my money back with probably about 6 emailed questions about status. I was not happy with them at all and would not recommend them. I do love to give a small shop a try, hence me running with your recommendation. Just my experience and my 2 cents...

Man I’m so sorry to hear that. They do make a variety of gear and I did go with top of the line. I didn’t explore their lower end if that was the area you bought into. I took their shop tour and it was no less than amazing. I’m actually pretty frugal about most things for my bike but when it comes to helmets (I like my head) boots and tires I only buy the best I can get my hands on. When I went helmet shopping I first went to my racing buddies F1 style and i kept hearing that name Quin so I went to investigate ….after over two months of looking in every shop I could find I realized their main offices were right here in Dallas so I went in person. They were head and shoulders above the rest … at least in the range $ I was looking …. I have a fat head and never find helmets that fit me … until then ! I spent a grand on all the whistles and bells for my helmet.. and I’ve been very pleased with the results ….. I just recently painted mine to go with Blitz’s new look ….. I’m so sorry to hear of your bad experience …. I didn’t expect that at all …..………………. Blitz

Me and a mate bought C5s with comms for our recent trip to Monaco and we both think they are the best helmets either of us have had. Test and try before you buy, always a good idea.
