Great build, im not a fan of the exhaust but overall very tasteful mods

 

Thanks. To me the less attractive part of a motorcycle is usually a muffler. When I saw the “come back” exhaust on a Buell a while ago, I fell in love with the simplicity of its design. In my opinion there is no a better looking exhaust for R9T.

 

Super cool of you to add the product links. The bike looks awesome! As for the oil cooler relocation, I’ve seen someone do an airbox delete and then move the oil cooler to the space where the battery used to be. Keep us updated!

 

Yeah, Oshmo does that. I'm not sure how reliable it is and how much hotter it will be to seat over it.

 

Great looking bike. Does that exhaust have any DB killer or is it completely open?

Also are you planning on any fuel re-mapping?

 

DB killers are installed but removable. I'm not planning to do any reprogramming because I want the engine to last as long as possible.

Nice clean build, you left no stone unturned. What was your thoughts with the brakes? The brembos that come with it are not the 'top shelf' brembo but they are still damn good, were you going for aesthetics? Can't imagine those perform any better than the originals?

I have the non glass pivoting version of the motogadget mirrors, personally find them far better than standard for rear vision.

 

Beautiful black bits. The pipes look a little confused and the ISRs a bit blingy for the build IMHO (but everyone's an expert...and the only opinion that matters is yours !!!!) As for the aggression factor, If you want to add some go to the show, do yourself a favor and fit a Rapid Bike Evo. Getting the plate off the rear tyre will look meaner too. Love the black forks

 

It seems like Rapid Bike doesn't support 2021 and later models.
The plate is already off the rear tire! Will post pics when I take good ones.

 

Looks awesome. I like the exhaust tucked Buell style, it moves the "visual mass" of the bike forward; slim at the rear and big chested like a big cat predator.

I'm 185 cm (6 ft) and it's not great for long rides. This is a show bike and I have a Hypermotard for fun rides.

 

I find myself coming back to this thread at least once a week, just to admire the piece of art that this bike is. You've done a fantastic job with this bike.

Beautiful triple clamp and Motogadget mount from Messner. The top yoke existed for a while and was used even in one the Vagabund builds. The lower yoke we designed together exclusively for this bike. It allows to adjust max turn angle to have enough space between clip-ons and the tank.
