Yes. I just got mine from Luimoto today and it's from Wunderlich. Not happy with the fit on my 2017 Scrambler -- it took a lot of extra effort to get it on the bike. Had to grind about 2 mm off of the longer bushing and had to bend the forks forks of the center stand in a bit to get them to fit. I also had to move the clamps around the flapper valve because the nuts where interfering with the center stand getting to its fully stowed position. No complaints with Luimoto, but Wunderlich needs to tweak this a bit for an easier fit on the Scrambler (at least the 2017 model).

stop .....! here you are using big words without knowing things. Why not find out before writing something so publicly? are you accusing a company, do you know the repercussions this thing can have ??? !!!!! the tripod is produced by an Italian company, the "X-Ray". the easel was conceived, designed and built entirely in Italy by XRAY.
Wundelich has carried out the German approval for this product because in Germany retailers need it to sell the products. On the first supplies the instructions were photocopies, now the instructions are in color. on the next one the Xray label will be printed on both if you buy it from wunderlich and buy it on my site or from other retailers. The Xray now uses the assembly instructions that Wunderlich did in color.

@LUISMOTO.IT thank you for clarifying the origins of the centre stand. I think there was some confusion before as to the origins of the stand and the instructions, it is great that you have clarified this. I expect the members appreciate this.

So to ensure the members know beyond doubt where the sidestand comes from, here is what I think you are saying:

1. the centrestand is produced in Italy by a company called X-Ray.

2. Wunderlich got involved to get the product certified for sale in Germany and also sells the sidestand.

3. X-Ray are using the Wunderlich instructions with Wunderlich's approval.

Is this a fair reflection on what you are saying? Please correct me if I am not reflecting your company's position properly.

I apologize for my lack of knowledge of the English language. all right. Xray designed and built the center stand, Wunderlich created the instructions and approved it. Luismoto is a retailer of both brands.

Prices for Wunderlich parts in the USA are significantly higher than in Europe. That's why you see guys complain about Wunderlich. Luis Moto is often more than a hundred dollars cheaper, even with international shipping costs included.

Not really mate, grew up on sport bikes and there's plenty of riders that can humble me.

I think my problem is I try to ride my BMW like my Aprilia.

The R Nine T is actually an absolute blast when leaned over. I feel I can get close to the limit on this bike but I'm nowhere near it on my Tuono.

Just came across this great instructional video on how to easily put a bike up, and down - in case anybody still has issues:

The only thing I’d add is: try stepping on the stand (slightly) even when you put the bike back down - it’ll make the movement even smoother and more controlled. When you do this, you won’t even need the “1st gear trick”. And practicing it 20 times in a row is also some good advice.

I sent an email to WUNDERLICH regarding the stand and they replied with this.....

Hello Andrew,

It is true that it is quite difficult to put the machine on the stand because the tipping point is not optimal, but there was no other possibility in the construction.
The development is to construct an additional lever that is soon in the program. This should make it easier.

Got mine from Luismoto within a few days of ordering. Fantastic quality, perfect fit, even with my Rizoma footpegs. Takes a while to install (2-3 hours). Looks like OEM, very practical to store the bike upright (less space in the garage), & to release the suspension. Very happy with the result. This is how bikes in the 70 looked like ;-)

Extra weight: this is for sure the lowest point of gravity and perfectly counterbalances the few extra pounds of the guy sitting on top... On the track, I’ll compensate through pure skills.

Balance: yes, the majority is in the front, it’s not perfectly 50/50, as with for example the GSs. Also depends on amount of gas in the tank.

Great job, Wunderlich, thanks Luismoto for the prompt delivery!!!
And as far as the lifting procedure goes: Guys, this is really easy if you understand leverage. Put your full weight on the peg, grab the bike by the side frame, lift the bike back and up. With a bit of practice, it’s even a one hand task. No need for 2 inch wood-helpers.

I have Suburban Machinery foot lowering pegs with the Luismoto center stand. They marry well.
