Amazing how much better your bike handles when the tires are staying staying on the pavement instead of playing hop, skip and jump. You'll find an adjustable steering damper to be very useful now.

just retuned from the shop. I had Andreani fork cartridges and a Ktech DDS Lite rear shop installed. Rode home on California's wonderful Highway 9. My Lord, what a difference! It seems like a completely different bike. The handling is more crisp, I feel more confidant. The bumps are near as pronounced. WELL worth the money (but not cheap).
Other mods include an Altrider oil cooler cover and Machineart Moto head covers.

Thanks for the report, John. Are those Machineart head covers just ABS plastic, or are they that really good kind of high-impact, hard, hi tech black plastic? (Sorry, don’t know how better to describe it than that...)
