True, but I could get you the dimensions so you can get some custom ones made, if you know someone with a lathe. Just take a 22 mm solid steel bar. Use the lathe to make the end smaller en add some threading on either side

I want/ need to go higher to take the weight off my 80yo wrists, and have recently found that the OE bars from the new BMW F900 XR will likely do the job - so have ordered it. NOTE: 900 XR, not 1000 XR.

Did you get the price down a bit @Lawrence of Suburbia ? I know you were concerned about that. It might be an option to get some custom bars made if there's a good bike builder anywhere close to you and still possibly end up with money in your pocket and have a bespoke fit into the bargain. Just a thought...

I put clip ons on my 2016 'Roadster' as I needed a little more room...AC Schnitzer make a beautiful pair, but I ended up going with WoodCraft as they are modular so you can buy various length risers and the fitting system is fantastic. I went with 3 inch risers so I still get that cafe racer low, clean look, but my 50 something year old back and arms are comfortable. Finding mirrors that suit the look and are functional is an issue, though. Bar end mirrors are useless in my opinion and add unwanted width.

Ever stop raining? I would love to see some fitted race retro bars if anyone has a pic. Cheers!
Ok so I got the Rizoma race retros in today and am having trouble fitting them. I am moving the speedo cluster down with some spacers, anyone ever try this? Also I found loads of grease or oil under the top mount. I cleaned it all off and snapped this pic. Should I do any maintenance here while I have the triple tree off?

Nice! Is the “Steering Damper Low” legend of any significance, or is it the name of the handlebar model?

Steering Damper Low is just the model. The Prptaper EVOs come in many different bends. That’s what they call this particular Bend. Figured I’d post a couple pics incase anyone was debating it. They look and feel great.

Toyed with the idea of adding the Heli Risers to the above setup. Priced new lines from Spiegler ($140 for clutch/brake), then test fitted the risers to see how they’d feel. Not really good enough to justify the expense and time involved in swapping lines. I keep trying to turn a Roadster into a GS. Maybe I should swap it for a Scrambler with higher bars? My 74 year-old neck and back will thank me.

I put on a Renthal FatBar 609 RC High handlebar. It is very comfortable as it gives through little vibrations, and the seating position is just right for me. Also it fits the Rizoma bar end indicators

Hello, do you know know how much taller these bars are compared to the stock ones please? Thanks

Just put some Rizoma MA011's on my RnineT. Specs are 760mm width and 15mm rise so about 60mm narrower than standard and 120mm lower. The pull-back also seems less and the bars sit further forward with slightly straighter angle. They feel good. I could notice the greater steering effort and that's a negative IMO, but they don't feel too low and whilst there is more weight on my palms/wrists it feels better above 110kph and the angle of my body means my helmet no longer feels like it's trying to rip my head off at 130/140kph.
The install was straightforward and took maybe 1.5hrs . Hardest and most time consuming part was figuring out what angle to fit the bars and switch gear.

Couple of average before and after pics.

I bought the Unit Comfort bars, but ended up going with the DK Design Comfort bars instead. I like them a lot, I think I need a little more cable play on the throttle side though, but otherwise dropped right on.
